CULLMAN, Ala. – Heirlooms Fine & Performing Arts is set to present “Treasures in Song: An Heirlooms Recital” on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m. at St. John’s Church. Tickets will be available at the door for $5 per person.

“Heirlooms is excited to be showcasing our students in an inaugural recital,” said Paige Clabo, owner and artistic director of Heirlooms Fine & Performing Arts. “Unlike traditional vocal recitals where students sing a classical piece of music, our recital will feature our vocal students singing some of THEIR favorite songs they have been working on for months. We will have a pop, Christian and Broadway section for a night of family friendly fun.”

The 23 students featured in the recital are all part of Heirlooms’ private vocal program, making this an ideal opportunity for the community to experience firsthand what Heirlooms offers.

“We have new offerings coming this spring. If you are interested in what we do here at Heirlooms, this is the perfect opportunity to come and check out our programming,” Clabo shared.

The recital’s theme, Treasures in Song, reflects the organization’s mission to pass down music to the next generation.

“Children are the treasures that will inspire the future of our country,” Clabo said. “They have each touched my life and are treasures to me. Now it’s time for them to share their God-given talents with the whole community.”

Beyond the music, the recital will highlight the confidence and personal growth that comes with performing arts education.

“The thing I love most about Heirlooms is that it is more than just music,” Clabo explained. “It is a way for students to gain confidence and grow in who they are. Performing arts gives so much more than just the ability to sing and dance. It’s about children learning to love themselves and be more confident human beings who know their worth. I am most excited to see these students shine on stage, some for the very first time and catch the bug for performing.”

Proceeds from the recital’s $5 ticket sales will go toward student costumes for future performances and necessary resources for Heirlooms’ new space inside St. John’s Church, which will be completed in the spring. Tickets will be sold only at the door and payment options including cash, check and Venmo.
