Katherine Delores Johnson passed away January 21, 2025. Katherine was born November 11, 1943 to James Luther and Irene Denny.
Katherine is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Elwin “Hap” Johnson, daughter Sherrie Jo Johnson Bagwell, sister Era (RT) Edwards, and her brothers Arling (Jannie) Denny and Jack (Geneva) Denny. Katherine is survived by her son Gary (Linda) Johnson, grandchildren Ashlie (Micah) Stewart, Mason Johnson, Jake Johnson, and Luke Bagwell, great-grandchildren Jackson Stewart, Landson Stewart, Ava Jo Bagwell, Able Bagwell, and Ace Bagwell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and too many dear friends to name.
Jake Johnson, Luke Bagwell, Mason Johnson, Micah Stewart, Terry Edwards and Gerald Johnson will serve as pallbearers, along with Jeff Knop and Lew Tucker as honorary pallbearers.
A celebration of life visitation will be held Thursday January 23, 2025 in the Moss Service Funeral Home chapel 1901 2nd Ave NW Cullman AL, 35055 from 11 a.m. until the service time at 1 p.m., with interment to follow at Center Grove Baptist Cemetery 4607 County Rd.1545 Gold Ridge, Alabama 35083 United States.
