Funeral Service for John Olen Bailey, age 79 of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; burial at Hamby’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Bailey passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Cullman Regional. He was born May 25, 1945, to William Claud Bailey and Flossie Mae Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ron Bennefield.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Bailey; Children; Jonathan Bailey, Joseph (Casey) Bailey, Misty Partain, James (Kim) Messersmith, Christy Campbell
grandchildren, Gabriel Bailey, Julian Bailey, Marida (Richard) Overton, James Calvin Messersmith, John Houston Messersmith, Calvin (Alexis) McNabb, Jachelle Partain, Kaleb McNabb, Cain Messersmith; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Overton, Anslee McNabb, Mattie Overton, Wrenlee Jo McNabb; siblings, Annie Ruth Bennefield, Willis (Sheila) Bailey, Anita (Daug) Jenkins and a Host of nieces and nephews.
