Jerry Wayne Adams passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 87 in Huntsville, AL
surrounded by his children. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years
showed his tenacity for life.
Jerry was born on December 31, 1937, in Winchester, IN. He was a proud graduate of
Greensburg High School and St. Vincents College. He married his wife Judith Adams
on May 9, 1964, and together they raised a beautiful family that they loved immensely.
He was a working family man whose career took him and his family across the world
from Greensburg, PA to the Republic of Singapore until finally settling in Huntsville, AL.
Jerry was fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and enjoyed watching games with his
family. A prolific player of the Sunday crossword, confident to fill out his answers in pen.
Jerry loved spending time in the kitchen – making breakfast for his grandkids or baking.
Every Christmas was filled with his cookies – known for his chocolate chip cookies,
peanut butter blossoms and sugar cookies that he would decorate with his grandkids.
Jerry was able to spend his final Christmas, birthday and New Years being visited by his
family and passed surrounded by his children.
