Statement from CCSO PIO Chad Whaley:
“The suspect that fled from the stolen vehicle has been located and is in custody. Sheriff Matt Gentry would like to thank the hard work and dedication of the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators, Cullman Police Department, as well as all those involved in the search efforts. Because of their diligent efforts, not only was the vehicle quickly recovered, but the suspect has been arrested and is no longer a danger to the community or our citizens.”
CULLMAN, Ala. – Deputies with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office are currently in the area of County Road 813 and County Road 437 searching for a suspect who fled on foot.
Following an earlier report of a stolen vehicle, the vehicle was recovered, but the suspect fled.
The suspect is believed to be male, wearing long pants and a large black coat with a hood.
