CULLMAN, Ala. – The United Way of Cullman County (UWCC) will host a Business Alliance Brunch on Thursday, Jan. 16, from noon-1 p.m. at East Side Baptist Church.

UWCC Resource Development & Outreach Manager Taylor Johnson said this is a special event to show appreciation for the continued support of its members and to foster new partnerships with the local business community.

“This brunch will provide an excellent opportunity for business leaders to network, connect with fellow professionals and enjoy a delicious meal sponsored by local businesses,” she said. “Guests can look forward to a local menu, including coffee from Berkely Bob’s, cinnamon rolls courtesy of Widlöcher’s bakery, fruit trays from Publix, the United Way Brunch Punch made in-house by the United Way team and more.”

The special guest speaker at the event will be Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Executive Director Nathan Anderson.

“He will speak about the importance of Cullman’s small business community and its role in driving local growth and development,” Johnson said. “Those in attendance will also have a chance to join and learn the benefits of the United Way Business Alliance.”

Johnson said the Business Alliance is a program designed to help local businesses grow while making a lasting impact in the community.

“Membership options are available at three levels, each offering exclusive benefits,” she explained. “The membership fees support the United Way of Cullman County and help fund local nonprofit agencies and programs, providing a meaningful way for businesses to give back to the community.”

Business Alliance membership tiers and perks:

  • Tier I ($500): Two networking events, two social media pushes, a website listing, a TikTok interview and a magazine spotlight
  • Tier II ($365): Two networking events, two social media pushes, a website listing and a magazine spotlight
  • Tier III ($120): Two networking events, two social media pushes and a website listing

“Together, we can create meaningful connections and ensure a brighter future for Cullman County,” Johnson said.
