Iva Mae, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Passed away January 9th, 2025. She was a woman of faith and service for the Lord and her church. She had been a member of Sardis Baptist Church since she was a young girl.
Her career was her family, but she loved serving her church. She loved children and spent years working in bible school as a teacher and principle. She was the WMU leader for a lot of years and believed in missions. She also taught a Sunday school class from young people all the way to teaching ladies her age until just a few years ago. She would do anything to help people, so she spent all her life serving because that was just the way she was, and it made her happy.
She was a very hard worker and loved flowers and having a garden. She spent a lot of time in her yard and flowers beds. She was a charter member of the Iris and Day Lily Society and won many ribbons for her flowers.
