Rev. Carl Nuss, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025. Rev. Nuss served as Senior Pastor in numerous churches in Louisiana and Alabama. He was a graduate of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, LA. He also owned two businesses (home repair and auto).
Rev. Nuss is preceded in death by his parents, Earnie and Odell Nuss and his brother, Curtis Nuss.
He is survived by his wife Greta, his sons, Steve Nuss of Woodburn, OR, Ken (Chris) Nuss of Columbus, MS and Joel (Diane) Nuss of Hanceville, AL. Grandchildren: Ashley Kakish, Brandon Nuss, Andrew Nuss, Annsley Nuss and Kinsley Nuss. Step-Grandchildren: Haley Crocker, Austin Barrett and Blake Barrett, 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 Step-Great Grandchildren.
Public visitation for Rev. Nuss will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055, until the funeral Service at 2 p.m. The interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, Hanceville, AL 35077. Dr. Tom Richter and Dr. Ed Hayes of FBC, Cullman, AL will officiate the service.
