Obituary: Stephen Dwight Foshee

Funeral Service for Stephen Dwight Foshee, age 70 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Center Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Jason Vinson and Rev. Nathan Chambers officiating; burial at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Center Grove Baptist Church. 
 
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
 
Mr. Foshee passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 30, 1954, to James Charles Foshee and Betty Norris Foshee. 
 
He was preceded in death by his father, James Charles Foshee; grandparents, Curt (Arzell) Norris and grandparents, James (Myrtle) Foshee; father-in-law, Hershel Brock; mother-in-law, Ozell Brock; brothers-in-law, Cliff Merrit and Steve Barbee. 
 
Survivors include his wife, Janice Foshee; son, Scotty (Layla) Foshee, daughter, Lacey (Corey) Sizemore; granddaughter, Sadey (Trent) Gorham; grandson, Parker Foshee; granddaughter, Kinzey Sizemore; grandson, Cordell (Dallas) Minor; great grandchild, Charlotte Minor; mother, Betty Norris Foshee; sisters, Kim (Doug) Cobb and Janet Alley and Becky (JT) Steel; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Jackie) Chambers, Becky Barbee, and Ruth (Jimmie) Johnson and a Host of nieces and nephews. 
 
He was retired from the Alabama National Guard. He was a member and deacon at Center Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed doing mission work with the East Cullman Baptist Association. He was the director of East Cullman Disaster Relief.
