Funeral service for Andrew George Thomas, age 85, of Cullman will be Monday, January 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Corinth West Methodist Church in Battleground (County Road 1101), with Rev. Kenny Blackwood officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12-2 p.m. Interment will be held at Corinth West Cemetery that adjoins the church.

Andy was born on December 29, 1939, to Luther Amos Thomas and Mildred Marie Kelley Thomas. He passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Thomas; one brother and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of ten years, Shirley Faye Thomas; one son, Steven Andrew Thomas; one daughter, Connie Thomas Duke (Johnny); one brother, Jerrol Amos Thomas (Ida); two grandchildren, Sarah Beth Storck (Jeremy), and Michael Andrew Duke; great-grandchildren, Kolton Duke Storck, Brylee Danielle Stork; a host of nieces and nephews, and family and friends.
Andy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved old Chevys and old tractors, and he really loved to sing. He will be remembered every day to come by those who knew and loved him.
