Wesley, a kind and gentle soul with a heart full of music and love, passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 43. Wesley was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures and shared his warmth and talents with everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Born to Neal and Donna McKoy on January 18, 1981, Wesley grew up in a home filled with love and care, a foundation that shaped his life. He adored his parents and always sought to make them proud.

Wesley had a deep passion for music, which brought him happiness and was a source of connection with others. Whether listening to his favorite songs or humming a tune, music was his constant companion.

His compassion extended beyond his personal life, as he found joy in taking care of others. Wesley’s natural ability to make people feel valued and understood was one of his most cherished qualities. He was the best small engine mechanic around, a title earned not only through skill but also his dedication to doing every job with care and precision. Friends and neighbors could always count on Wesley to fix things with a smile.

Wesley also took great pride in his work at Harrison Outdoors. He loved his job and he spoke fondly of the relationships he built there. Wesley’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those he touched with his kindness and talent.

Survivors include his son, Tripp McKoy; parents, Neal and Donna McKoy; brother, Levi (Sarah) McKoy; spouse, Jessica Henry; stepsons, Chase Henry and Dylan Barker; nephews, Legend McKoy and Paxton Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Hanceville Funeral Home is honored to serve the McKoy Family.
