It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Em & “Honey” Pullium, age 67, on
December 21, 2024. Honey, as she was lovingly known by many, was a loving mother,
wife, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity leave us with a
lasting impact for everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Cullman Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to serve the family.

Born on December 25, 1956, to Milton Freemon Underwood and Merle Lassiter
Underwood, Em grew up with a deep sense of emotional intelligence and an ardent love
for nature. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mac Pullium, and parents,
Milton and Merle.

Honey is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, James Pullium, their children,
Paul Godwin, Jamie Pullium, and Sara (Angel) Mitre, and her many grandchildren who
brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Honey was deeply involved in the lives of her
grandchildren, many of whom she helped raise. Her influence in their lives was
profound, and she was a constant source of love, guidance, and support.

A lifelong lover of animals, Honey had a special place in her heart for dogs. She never
turned away a stray, always offering shelter, food, and love to those in need. Her
compassion for animals was matched only by her generosity and love for others. Her
home was always open to anyone who needed advice, a place to rest, or a shoulder to
cry on. Whether it was a hot meal or a comforting presence, Honey was always ready to
help, with a smile and a heart full of love.

Honey’s legacy is one of everlasting joy and kindness, selflessness, and unwavering
love. She believed in the power of a helping hand and lived her life in service to others,
always seeking to make the world a better place for those around her. Her family and
friends will remember her for her nurturing spirit and her ability to make everyone feel
welcome and cared for.

A private memorial service will be held to honor her life at a later date to be shared. In
lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to an animal shelter or
charity of your choice in Honey’s name, in tribute to her lifelong love of animals.
Honey’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her love, her
kindness, and her legacy of helping others will remain a lasting inspiration to all.
Rest in peace, Honey. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
