Funeral Service for Kenneth “Ken” Dewayne Hampton, age 70 of Brownsboro, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Jim Hampton and Tony Moses officiating; burial at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hampton passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 27, 1954, to Hancle Kent Hampton and Nellie Jo Bailey Hampton.
Kenneth was a graduate of Eva High School, class of 1972. He furthered his education attending Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, class of 1982, receiving his doctorate of Juris Prudence. After graduation Kenneth opened his own law firm, helping the community and residence of Huntsville, AL for 40 plus years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Tommy Moses.
Survivors include his brother, Barry (LaDana) Hampton; sisters, Jane Moses and Carolyn Hampton and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Pallbearers for Mr. Hampton will be, Matt Pilkington, Colt Pilkington, Dustin Whisenant, Zane Scott, Jeremy Cline, Johnathan Shelnutt, Cody Pitts and Tim Scott.
