Funeral service for Mary Charlotte Kilgore, age 82, of Baileyton, is Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 1 p.m., at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jeremy Collier. Visitation will be held in the chapel prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Charlotte was born on December 7, 1942, to Eddie Ethan Walker and Mary Bullard Walker. She passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Walker; mother and stepfather, Mary and Junior Roberts; husband, David Kilgore; brothers, Alfred Walker, Bennie Walker, James Walker, and Kenneth Walker.
She is survived by her sons, Kaven Thompson of Decatur, Alabama and Keith Kilgore (Andi), of Houston, Texas; daughter, Karen Raper (Tracey) of Cullman, Alabama; brother, Eddie Earl Walker (Betty); sisters, Marty Spicer, and Janice Quattlebaum; grandchildren, Zachary Earwood, Cody Earwood (Virginia), Joshua Kilgore (Julia), Jacob Kilgore, Brittany Roberson, and Mary Carroll; great-grandchild, Jackson Kilgore; a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Zachary Earwood, Cody Earwood, Josh Kilgore, Jacob Kilgore, Patrick Sims, Zachary Woods.
Family remembers Charlotte as a selfless and compassionate caregiver. She loved nature and loved being outside in her yard, working in her garden, and canning. She will never be forgotten and will live forever in the hearts of those she left behind.
