Funeral service for Steve Allen Hudgins, age 72, of Cullman, will be Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Larry Duke officiating. Visitation will be held at the chapel on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday before the service from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Dodge City.

Steve was born on February 21, 1952, to Fred and Velma Hudgins. He passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Stephen Freeman; son in law, Warren Fanning.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Nancy; son, Kenneth Ergle (Christy); daughters, Sharon Fanning, and Lisa Harper (James); brother, Billy Hudgins; sisters, Brenda Griffin, Myra Cone, and Kathy Rodgers; grandchildren, Magen Peace (Larry Cook), Kelsie Smallwood (Dylan), Haley Freeman Rutherford (Randall), Cody Ergle, Alyssa Ergle; great-grandchildren, Ara, Adele, Audrey, Brooklyn, and Brentley.
Family remembers Steve as a loyal and dedicated worker, being employed at Tyson for 50 ½ years. He loved watching westerns and drinking coffee. He was a simple man who loved his family very much and he will be greatly missed.
