CULLMAN, Ala. – The Small Business Christmas Market is coming to the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center on Saturday, Nov. 30.
The Pink Boot Boutique Owner Shayla Waldner said the event will be from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. at the Cullman Agricultural Trade Center.
“We have 60 vendors and two food trucks. (There will be) kids’ clothes, women’s boutique clothes, men’s hat and accessories, candle businesses, local household items, cleaning product businesses, jewelry and accessories, home decor, Christmas shirts, kids toys, etc.,” Waldner said. “It is the perfect weekend (Black Friday weekend) to shop for all your Christmas gifts right here locally in Cullman. Businesses from all over eastern, northern and central Alabama have come together to attend this event.”
Waldner said Santa will be on-site from 11-2 with his photographer and bringing each child a gift.
“You can choose to pay a small fee and have professional pictures taken or see him and take pictures with your phone – he may even make an appearance a little earlier,” she said. “The first 60 shoppers at the door waiting will also receive a free gift bag.”
Waldner has owned the Pink Boot for a year and a half and said she recently sold her boutique trailer after finding out she is expecting a baby boy in August.
“I am expanding into hosting two big events like this a year so that I can focus on being a mom, but still do something big within my name,” she said. “Since before I opened up my mobile boutique trailer in 2023, I knew I wanted to host a big Christmas and Easter event; it was something I was more passionate about than selling clothes. I took the leap in June of this year and booked the ag center and lined up everything. When I created the event page, it blew up, bringing attention to thousands. I’ve had over 100 inquiries about becoming vendors and I had to top it off at 60 vendors. I am working on an Easter event at the same location for the spring of 2025 with a waitlist already prepared.”
