Memorial service for Nancy Carol Steele, age 72, of Cullman, Friday, November 22, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Randall Edmondson officiating. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at the chapel from 3-4 pm.

Nancy was born on February 2, 1952, to Grover and Vera Smith. She passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeremiah Steele; brothers, Charles Larry Smith and Grover Stevie Smith; nephew, Ron Persall; brother-in-law, LaDon Holsonback.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Holsonback; sister-in-law, Bonnie Smith; nephews, Randall Smith, Craig Smith, Clint Smith, and Caden Smith; a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
Nancy was a friend to everybody, young and old. She loved all the students at West Point School, where she worked, and they loved her. She will never be forgotten for the difference she made in so many lives. She will be greatly missed.
