Obituary: Linda Faye Bell

Linda Faye Quick Bell went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on November 17th in Wilsonville, AL. Born on December 16, 1943 in Hanceville, AL to Reuben and Lou Emma Quick. Linda attended school at Hanceville and went on to Massey Business College in Birmingham, AL. 

Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.   

Linda is survived by her husband, Terry Bell; children, Teresa (Rodney) Looney, Angie (Brett) Robbins, Eric (Pam) Dill, daughter-in-law Angie Foster, Kerri (Doug) Pate, Jessi McKinney, and Michael Bell.  Grandchildren, John (Mattie) Looney, Caleb (Ashley) Foster, Josh (Thamirez) Looney, Jonnie Licklider, Savannah (Kevin Moore), Sawyer Pate, Ella Pate, Maddie Bell-Colpack, Judson McKinney and Jaxon McKinney. Great grandchild Grayton Moore. Sister-in-law Grace Quick, brother-in-law Steve (Ann) Bell. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Lou Emma Quick, sister, Nelda (Jack) Elliott, brother, John Wayne Quick, son, Frank Foster, daughter, Wendi Bell, sister-in -laws Myra (James) Lee, Shirley (NJ) Roy, brother-in-law WT Bell. 

Linda was a stay at home mother and piano teacher in her early years.  She then worked for Industrial Traffic in Birmingham as an Office Manager for several years before moving to Brookwood Medical Center as an executive secretary for the remainder of her career.   

Linda loved playing and teaching piano to anyone that showed interest. She played piano and organ at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hanceville, AL along with being choir director at times for the Senior Choir and starting up a Junior Choir during her 20 years there. She played for Wilsonville United Methodist after moving to Wilsonville, AL until she retired from playing in 2022.
