CULLMAN, Ala. – Do you enjoy Legos, crafting or even dinosaur tea parties? Well you are in luck, because the main branch of the Cullman County Public Library System is hosting these events and more this month.

The library will host events such as STEAM Week, Crafternoon, T-rex Tea Party and Teen Tuesday.

The first week of November is National STEAM Week. “That is science, technology, engineering, arts and math. We will have a massive program every day of the week, Monday-Friday, in order for kids to attend and do scavenger hunts, building projects and craft projects in honor of STEAM Week. The projects are available all day,” said CCPLS Assistant Library Director Shelby Creekmore.

Crafternoon is for all ages and is a monthly, free craft event that takes place the second Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m.

Book Club will be hosted in the Cullman City Hall auditorium on Nov. 14.

“We are doing a T-Rex Tea Party on the 16th. I’m very excited about that. So at 10 o-clock we will have a tea party with little teacups and a guest t-rex in costume. We will also have dinosaur-related activities such as bone excavations and dinosaur bones to look up. That’s in honor of Dinovember; November is dinosaur month,” said Creekmore.

The fourth Tuesday of every month is Teen Tuesday for ages 13-18, and games, snacks, and crafts are provided.
