CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Bosom Buddies Foundation held its largest annual fundraiser, the Little Pink Dress benefit,  on Oct. 1, at the Cotton Creek Warehouse, raising an impressive $70,000 to benefit local cancer patients.

The sold-out event featured a live and silent auction, soulful tunes by the Wallace State Jazz Band and special “celebrity” waiters (local leaders, law enforcement, etc.) serving the evening’s meal.

The Cullman County Bosom Buddies Foundation expressed heartfelt gratitude in a statement:

“On behalf of Cullman County Bosom Buddies Foundation, we would like to thank everyone that came out to support our efforts in rising money to help those in need during their cancer journey.

“A special thanks to all our celebrity waiters and Stone Bridge Farms staff for helping serve our guest throughout the evening. Thank you to everyone that donated items for our auction and for all those that bid on those items. Thank you to all the volunteers CCBBF board members and advisory board for making this night a success.  With the joint effort and support we were able to raise $70,000 in sponsorships, ticket sales, auction items sold, 50/50 ticket sales, waiter tips, and other donations given throughout this event.

“CCBBF have already provided patient assistance in the amount of $64,000 this year alone, this event will allow us to continue helping those in need.”

The 2024 benefit bested the year prior by $45,000, and the funds go directly back into the community to assist and support Cullman-area residents undergoing cancer treatments.
