CULLMAN, Ala. – Fall is a favorite time for many because of fall festivals, holidays and family gatherings and trips to the pumpkin patch to choose the perfect centerpiece or base for a spooky jack-o-lantern. The Cullman area is chock-full of family friendly and fun fall-themed festivals and pumpkin patches ready to be picked and enjoyed by the whole group.
4D Farm
Located at 7182 County Road 703, this locally owned and operated farm offers attractions, rides, a petting zoo, corn maze, cow train, corn pit, horse rides, a massive pumpkin patch and so much more.
A day pass to 4D Farm will set a family back $22.95 a person on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Columbus Day if purchased in advance online and $26.95 if purchased on-site the day of the visit. Thursday visits are $16.95 if purchased online and $19.95 at the farm. Season passes are available for $52.95 and include unlimited visits for the entire season.
Admission includes access to most rides and attractions, all entertainment and admission to Friday and Saturday night’s Goblin Glow Trail, available after sunset. The price of admission to 4D Farm does not include the cost of the farm’s extra offerings like the mechanical bull, paintball, apple cannons, or gem mining or the cost of pumpkins.
The Refuge Church of God Fall Festival
The Refuge Church of God will hold its annual Fall Festival and invites the community to gather and enjoy the crisp fall air along with fellowship. On Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m. the church will have games for children and adults, train rides, tons of delicious food, plenty of candy and awesome prizes.

Autumn Festival
Chapman Inflatables is hosting its inaugural Autumn Festival at Randall Shedd Community Park located at 649 Wesley Ave. in Fairview on Oct. 19, from 4-9 p.m.
The event will carry a $5 entry fee and feature more than 40 vendors with handmade and curated goods and products, inflatables, a hay ride, activities and games for children and a live DJ.
Harmony Word of Life Church Fall Festival
Harmony Word of Life Church in Vinemont is throwing a fall festival bash, complete with bow and arrow shoot, corn dig, candy corn bowling and fun and interactive games like cornhole, ring toss, face painting, along with a cake walk.
This free community event promises family fun and tons of candy.
Saturday, Oct. 19, from 2-6 p.m. at Harmony Word of Life Church is located at 420 County Road 1204.Â
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Fall Festival
On Sunday, Oct. 13, from 2-5 p.m., St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will host a Fall Festival for the entire community to enjoy.
The festival will include a trunk-or-treat, pumpkin patch, inflatables, multiple local vendors, food trucks and the evening will host a blood drive on site. This event is free and all are welcome. The church is located at 513 Fourth Ave. SE.
Render Aid Alabama Boo Festival
Render Aid Alabama is coming together to host the annual Boo Festival on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Randall Shedd Community Park in Fairview, located at 649 Wesley Ave., from 4-8 p.m.
The nonprofit is hosting a free afternoon full of inflatables, vendors, community resources, sensory safe zones, line dancing, hay rides and so many more classic fall activities.
