Obituary: Cyndi Hood

Cyndi Hood, a virtuous and loving woman, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love was never-ending. 

Born on February 3 1959, Cyndi Hood dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was known for her caring nature, hard work, and selflessness, always putting others before herself. Her home was a haven of warmth and kindness, where everyone felt welcome and loved. 

Cyndi Hood had a passion for camping and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones in the great outdoors. Her joy was found in the simple pleasures of life, surrounded by family and friends. 

She is survived by Husband Rick Hood, Sisters Penny and Judy, Children Richard Hood the 2nd, Lisa Tucker (Husband Dewayne) and Nikki Porter (Husband Brent). Grandchildren Gaea, Alee (Husband Garrett), Autumn, Rick Hood the 3rd Arianna, Blaklee, AJ, Auron, Brentley, Malachai and Great Grandchildren – Kylee, Rylee, Mathias. 

Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. 

A celebration of Cyndy Hood’s life will be held on October 5th 1 p.m. at Addison Community Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Walnut Ridge Fire Department in Arkansas.
