CULLMAN, Ala. – “Oktoberfest comes alive for kids at Kinderbereich, the Kids’ Zone at Cullman Oktoberfest.” This year’s Kids’ Zone promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring more ride options, exciting contests, a Ferris wheel and interactive hands-on stations. A one-day wristband for unlimited rides is available for just $30, or individual ride tickets can be purchased. Most rides will require only one ticket, with the Ferris wheel and mechanical bull being the only exceptions.
Each day at Oktoberfest, the Kids’ Zone will offer a variety of scheduled events for kids to participate in. Some highlights include floral crown and hat-making sessions, perfect for creative little ones, and Build-A-Wiener Dog workshops for $30 (while supplies last). There will also be a ventriloquist show with Ron Lighty of Jason & Company, along with storytime sessions hosted by the Cullman County Public Library. A variety of kids’ contests, including Best Dressed, Stein Hoisting and Pretzel Eating, will also keep the excitement going.
For a full list of activities, including specific times for each day, check out the official Kids’ Zone page on the Cullman Oktoberfest website at www.cullmanoktoberfestival.com/kinderberich-kids-zone.
