Funeral service for Ernest Leon Jones, age 90, of Cullman, is Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Cory Drummond. Mr. Jones will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be held Monday evening, September 30, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at the chapel and interment will be at Fellowship Cemetery at Spring Hill.

Leon was born November 23, 1933, to Ernest Franklin Jones and Nora Morgan Jones. He passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wren Jones; parents, Ernest F. Jones and Nora Jones and Zola Jones; and four siblings.
He is survived by his sons Randy Jones (Sherri), Roger Jones (Karen); daughters, Kim Bryan (Johnny), Karen Beck (Jason); grandchildren, Jamey Jones (Regan), Katrina Hembree (Kale), Justin Jones (Mallory), Jared Jones (Zana), Jake Jones (Destiny), Kristen Boulton (Matthew), Kelsey Owen (Sam), John Bryan (Heidi), Kacie Eason (Ryan), Karli Beck, and April Tankersley; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and ten siblings.
Pallbearers will be Jamey Jones, Justin Jones, Jared Jones, Jake Jones, John Bryan, and Shannon Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Blayne Jones, Noah Jones, Grayson Jones, and Griffin Jones.
