Gary “Don” Mitchell of Bremen, Alabama passed away September 21, 2024. Don is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Edith Mitchell, and his father-in-law Robert Speegle.
Don is survived by his wife Miranda Lashelle Mitchell, sons Chase, Chance “Haley,” and Collin Speegle, grandchild Cameron Speegle, brothers David Edward and Kenneth Ray ”Judy” Mitchell, brother-in-law Daniel “Kim” Speegle, mother-in-law Sandra Speegle and a host of extended family and friends.
Don was a true family man as a loving brother, husband, and father. Don was a business owner of 20 years and a skilled mechanic. Don loved all types of sports, and would enjoy just about anything that was on. As a talented cook and what some would consider a “grill master,” Don found joy in preparing delicious meals for his family. His warmth and dedication will be deeply missed.
Services for Don will be held September 25, 2024 in the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel 1901 2nd Ave NW Cullman, AL 35055. Family will receive friends for a visitation from 12 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Cold Springs Church of Christ 8392 Co Rd 109, Bremen, AL 35033.
