BAILEYTON, Ala. – Saturday, Sept. 21, marked Baileyton’s fourth annual Family Fun Day in the Park. Live music filled the air as attendees strolled the booths and children participated in games and rides.
Local vendors offered an array of goodies and fun, such as baked goods, face painting, crocheted creations, seasonal home décor and more. Food trucks serving a variety of treats from savory barbecue to refreshing shaved ice were on-site so folks could enjoy their meals picnic style. There was even a surprise special appearance by the one and only Batman!
Mayor Windell Calloway stated, “I feel that our day was very successful. Hopefully, we can expand on this and make this event grow. The people who came today had a great time, especially the kids. I would like to thank everyone who helped with this event and everyone who came today.”
The Town of Baileyton and the Baileyton Volunteer Fire Department hosted the day full of family fun and fall festivities.
