David Leddell Davis Jr., age 63, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on September 15, 2024.
David spent his life on his cattle farm with his beloved wife of 36 years, Cindy Davis. Over the course of 40 years, he was a passionate bluegrass singer and a key member of David Davis and the Warrior River Boys. In addition, David served his community working with the Morgan County Schools system for 24 years. David was preceded in death by his Parents Lucille and Leddel Davis, cousin, Bryon Whitten. David is survived by his wife Cindy Davis, aunt Avnel Nail, niece Stephanie (Taylor) Morrow, great nephew and niece Coleman & Scarlett Morrow, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for David will be held on September 20th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home located at 1901 2nd Ave. NW 35055. In addition, David will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 21st. Interment to follow at Etha Cemetery located at 8417 County Road 1545 35058.
