Our beloved Adam Dale Pitts, 44, of Hanceville tragically left us on September 13, 2024. He was born on December 29, 1979 in Cullman, Alabama.
A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, September 15th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home to celebrate his life.
A devoted fan of Alabama football and basketball, Adam could often be found cheering on the Crimson Tide, no matter the season. Whether it was a big game day or a regular season matchup, he wore his team’s colors proudly and never missed an opportunity to share his passion with others.
Beyond sports, he had a love for the peacefulness of the water, spending countless hours fishing with friends and family. He treasured the moments spent on the lake, where time seemed to slow down, and the beauty of nature surrounded him. But above all, his greatest joy in life was his family. His warmth, kindness, and dedication to those he loved will be forever remembered.
Survivors include his daughter, Magan Williams; grandchildren, Callie Williams and Korey Williams; mother, Donna Perkins; father, Willie Pitts (Elaine); grandmother, Sue Grey; siblings, Bubba Pitts (Mandy), Bo Pitts (Savannah), Dakota Pitts (Jona Massey), Jacolby Pitts (Moriah Litteral); aunts and uncles, Tim Davis (Kim Wix), Glenn Davis (Lou Davis), Rodger Pitts, Kathy Davis, Debra Parker, Bobbie M. Shedd; nieces and nephews, Zoe Pitts, Max Pitts(Maximus), Gracie Dean(Freckles) Braxton Phillips, Connor Pitts (Marissa), Lasundra Turner, Garret Turner, Asa Fossett, Madyson Massey, Baileigh Baker, Braxton Pitts, Cash Baker, Brantley Baker, Miley Baker, Khloe Baker; and a host of many other loving cousins, extended family and friends.
Mr. Pitts was Preceded in death by his father, Ricky Dale Nixon; grandparents: Ernie and Velvalee Pitts, Opal and Richard Davis, Charles Richard Nixon; and aunts and uncles, Eddie Davis, Mike Davis, Wanda Rodgers, Betty Black, Billy Ray Pitts(Ruby Ann Pitts), and Jean Ann Pitts.
The family requests for you to wear Alabama attire, if possible, in Adams memory.
