CULLMAN, Ala. – The Alabama Sons of Liberty Riders (SOLR) will be hosting a motorcycle ride on Saturday, Sept. 7, to benefit the Eldridge Children’s Home in Eldridge, Alabama. All funds raised from the ride will be donated during the Eldridge Toy Run in December, which helps sustain the Children’s Home for the entire year.

The ride will begin and end at Freddie Day Catering, located at 1628 Second Ave. NW in Cullman. Registration will take place from 7:30 a.m.-9:20 a.m., with a driver’s meeting at 9:20. Kickstands will go up at 9:30 sharp. The route is yet to be determined, pending the availability of an escort.

Contributions are $25 for riders and $15 for passengers, which includes a meal, water, crackers and entry into the door prize drawing. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle for $20 an arm’s length of tickets, along with a separate raffle where tickets can be purchased individually or by the book (cash only).

“If you’ve participated in previous rides with the SOLR, you know the meal is worth the price of the ride alone,” shared a representative from SOLR.
