Vetra Daisy Johnson Shoemaker, age 81, of Vinemont, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. Vetra was born in Cullman, Alabama on October 3, 1942 to Louis and Velma Godfrey Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Blackwood and Rev. David Estes officiating. Interment will follow services at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in the Blair community.
Survivors are: husband: David E. Shoemaker, sons: David Allen Shoemaker and Michael Joe Shoemaker, sisters: Effie Johnson Gunter and Gayree Johnson Waldrep, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home.
