Mirra, who left us far too soon on August 24, 2024, was a devoted mother, whose son, Onyx, was the center of her world. Being a mother was her greatest joy, and she embraced it with all the love and care she could give.

From a young age, Mirra adored her siblings and always looked up to her mother, striving to be just like her. Her spunky and colorful personality brightened every room she entered, and she was known for her honesty—whether the truth was good or bad, Mirra always spoke her mind. Animals of all kinds held a special place in her heart, and she had a dream of one day becoming a foster parent, opening her home and heart to children in need. She was full of life, with a friendliness that endeared her to everyone she met. No one could ever say a bad word about her. Her sisters fondly remember her as “crazy-fun,” a testament to the vibrant spirit that defined her life. Mirra was truly a momma’s girl, always cherishing the bond she shared with her mother.

Though her time with us was short, the impact she made on those around her will be felt forever. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her.

Mirra was preceded in death by her father, Joshua Smith.

She is survived by her son, Onyx James Smith; mother, Spuranandra Smith; step-father, Matt Payne; siblings, Kiya Smith, Alyssa Smith, Jakoda Smith, Brayson Payne, Cason Payne and Trayson Payne; and boyfriend, Jake Wilkerson

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hanceville Funeral Home.
