CULLMAN, Ala. – St. Paul’s Lutheran School will host its inaugural golf tournament Saturday, Sept. 14, at Cross Creek Golf Course.
Golfers and teams are welcomed to the course to register for the tournament prior to the 8 a.m. tee-time. Registration will begin at 7 alongside a complimentary morning fill-up by way of a provided breakfast for each registered golfer.
The cost to compete in the tournament is $100 per player and $25 per mulligan (with a limit of two per player). Single players or teams of less than four will be placed into teams of four through a player scramble. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Amanda Lee, a volunteer with St. Paul’s, said, “We will have door prizes and cash prizes for winning teams.”
Also worked into the cost of the fundraising tournament is the benefit to the students of St. Paul’s. Tournament entry fees will assist the school in beginning much-needed upgrades to its facilities.
“The proceeds will benefit classroom and building upgrades at St. Paul’s,” shared Lee. “We are also in need of a new gym floor.”
Sponsors are also welcomed. Five levels of sponsorships are available for the school’s event.
- Hole sponsor: Sponsor name on one hole for a donation of $100 or three for $250
- Golf Cart Sponsor: Sponsor name and logo on one golf cart for a $250 donation
- Silver sponsor: Includes one hole sign, a vendor slot and name on promotional materials for a $500 donation
- Gold sponsor: Includes one four-person team, a vendor slot, one large sponsor sign and name on all promotional materials and ads for a donation of $1,000
- Platinum sponsor: Includes one four-person team, vendor slot, one hole sign, one large sponsor sign and name on all promotional materials and ads for a donation of $2,000
