Rita Louise Blakely, age 75, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
Rita is survived by her sisters Valerie Thomley and Edna Earl Boddie, brother Wade Alston ; her stepdaughter Jennifer Lynn Darnell & Daughter Anna Elizabeth Blakely, stepson Robert Alton Franklin Blakely, son-in-law Daniel Derek Nelson, grandchildren Morgan Christlean Darnell, Savannah Lyn Woods, Avery Michael Darnell & Malaki Robert Blakely and great grandchildren Dyson Alexander Willette & Alara Veronica Willette.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents Icy Mae Alston and Earl Alston and grandson Sean Alexander Darnell.
A celebration of life for Rita will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. at Addison Church of God, 31331 US 278, Addison, AL 35540.
Rita will be laid to rest in Meek Cemetery, 6920 County Road 41, Arley, AL.
