CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Farm-City Committee is pleased to announce the annual Cullman County Farm-City Banquet, set to take place on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Loft 212. The evening’s festivities will commence with a silent auction and entertainment at 5 p.m., followed by the banquet at 6.
This year’s theme, “Cullman County Counts on Farmers,” highlights farmers’ vital role in the community’s economy, culture and daily life. The event will feature live entertainment, a meal and an update on agriculture education.
The night will end by honoring contest winners, Students of the Year and City Family of the Year. All proceeds from the silent auction will go to Cullman Caring for Kids, the Pilot Light Home, Curt’s Closet and the Good Samaritan Health Clinic.
“We are excited to bring the community together to celebrate our farmers, businesses and community and their invaluable contributions,” said Oakleigh Calahan, chair of the Cullman County Farm-City Committee. “This event is a wonderful opportunity to honor those who work tirelessly to provide for our community in many ways.”
