Born in a small town in East Tennessee, Sylvian grew up with 4 sisters and 1 brother.  She was a graduate of Everett High School in 1953.  After school she became a clerk at Profit’s and shortly thereafter married in 1955 to Dwight Jackson, who left this world in 1991.  She moved to Alabama and started her family.  Gracing this world with two wonderful children.  She loved spending time working in the garden and tending to her cats and dogs throughout the years.  Sylvian spent her working years at Blue Bell in Hanceville, Alabama, sewing on belt loops for Wrangler Jeans.  She attended East Hanceville Baptist Church for many years.  Loved and respected by all, there was no better Granny on this earth.  She will be immensely missed, but her love for family and friends never went unnoticed.  Spending any amount of time with her would put a smile on your face.  We love you!  “Don’t forget to call when you get home.”
