Kimberly Sue Cheatham, 58, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on August 5, 2024.
Mrs. Cheatham was born in Michigan, on August 9, 1965, to John Smith and Rose Lawrence.
Mrs. Cheatham enjoyed kayaking down the river, traveling when she could, and crocheting. She was a selfless person and her heart for others was evident when she gifted a kidney to her father-in-law several years ago. Kim was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she enjoyed helping raise her grandbabies. Kim leaves a legacy of selflessness and love for others, and she will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Mrs. Cheatham is preceded in death by her father, John Smith; mother and stepfather, Rose and Joe Brock; brother, Jimmy Smith; sisters, Beth Comerford, and an infant sister; as well as her father-in-law, Clyde Cheatham.
Kim is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Cheatham; son, Matthew Cheatham; daughter, Samantha Nickey Overturf (Ryan); grandchildren, Kyle Bailey, Wyatt Bailey, Noah Bailey, Stetson Cheatham, Sutton Cheatham, Sawyer Barton, Sienna Dial; brothers, Mark Smith, Don Smith, Jeff Smith; sisters, Theresa Busque, Rose Rainbolt; and mother-in-law, Ann Cheatham.
