Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
Diann was born in Jasper, Alabama on June 25, 1946, to Daniel and Tressie Sisk.
Diann worked for 11 years with King Edward Cigar in Cullman, before her retirement. She enjoyed solving puzzles, word search, listening to music, and watching movies.
Diann was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband of 43 years, Donald Emrie Davis.
As a young girl, Diann went to live with whom she described as her second set of parents, James Elder and Icie Mae Dollar, and their daughter Melinda. Diann considered the Dollar family her family. Diann once gave her testimony as being saved at a Church in Addison, Alabama, at the age of 11. She said in her testimony that as the Holy Spirit tugged at her heart and she made her way down to the altar, when she looked back, her very best friend and cousin, Melinda Dollar, was right behind her.
Survivors include sister-in-law, Deborah Ergle; nephew, Chad Ergle; and great niece, Macey Ergle, along with many friends.
The family wants to thank the administration, the nurses, and employees at Hanceville Nursing Home and Rehab Center, for the love and care that was shown to Diann.
A special thanks to the staff and employees with Southern Care Hospice for the love and care they provided, as well.
