Hanceville man arrested for methamphetamine trafficking

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Police Department arrested a Hanceville man and charged him with trafficking in methamphetamine following a traffic stop on Aug. 2. 

According to CPD Public Relations Officer Adam Clark, officers stopped a vehicle occupied by Tyler Lamont Speakman, 29, on Hickory Avenue Southwest near Third Street. 

“During a probable cause search of the vehicle, officers located a large quantity of methamphetamines and some drug paraphernalia,” Clark said. “Officers subsequently arrested Speakman and charged him with trafficking in methamphetamines and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.” 

Clark said he wanted to thank Officer Rob Long, Officer Ryan Warren and Officer Justin Turner for their work on the case.
