Ruby A. Denney White, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 94. Ms. White was born in Cullman County, Alabama, on July 20, 1930, to John Barlow and Mary East Denney.
Ms. White was a member of Maple Street Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother and her family meant everything to her. Ruby enjoyed tending her flower gardens and yard, and she always kept her home in order. Ms. White enjoyed listening to old southern gospel music as well. Ruby was a wonderful lady, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love. She will be missed greatly by many.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Coy White; infant son, John White; daughter Linda A Tullis; and grandson, Jonathan White.
Those surviving Ms. White include her daughter, Sharron Allen; grandchildren, Michael White, Elizabeth White; and sister-in-love, Fran Tate.
Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Bro. Earl Harper officiating. Burial will follow services in Union Grove Cemetery where Ruby will be laid to rest alongside her beloved, Coy.
