Obituary: Angus Plez Grace Sr.

Angus Plez Grace Sr., age 84 of Cullman, Alabama (formerly of Plant City, Florida) went to be with Jesus on July 26, 2024. He is welcomed into heaven’s gates by his daughter Terri Marie Clark and his beloved granddaughter Anastasia Nichole Boyd. 

Angus was born on January 8, 1940 in Enterprise Alabama to James and Emma Grace. Angus served a total of 6 years in the United States Navy and worked for the United States Post Office as a mailman for 26 years, followed by 5 years as a bag boy at Publix to keep himself busy. Angus is survived by Jewell Grace, the love of his life, mother to his children and former spouse, his children Angus Plez Grace Jr., Anita (John) Dennert, April Smith; his dedicated caretaker of 20 years, grandchildren Daniel (Evelyn) Clark, Christina M. Clark, Amber (George) Negrin, Andrew (Alyssa) Clark, Megan Dennert, Jaden (Kindyl) Smith, Ryan Smith, Mackenzie (Javier) Torres, Emilee Smith, nine great grandchildren, sister Melba (Kenny) Putnell, and a host of nieces and nephews. Angus was a huge fan of the Florida Gators and loved collecting Hess Trucks. He could always be found watching a baseball or football game, and you would always get a good joke or scare out of him. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family. He will be missed by all that loved him. 

A celebration of life visitation for Angus will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd AVE North West, Cullman, AL 35055. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. 

Angus will be laid to rest in Jones Chapel Cemetery, 235 Co Rd 1114, Cullman, Alabama.
