Funeral Service for Raymond W. Schaffer, age 94 of Cullman, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Schaffer passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his residence. He was born, February 4, 1930, to John Schaffer and Maggie Schaffer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Schaffer; sons, Dennis (Vicky) Schaffer and Perry (Wendy) Schaffer; daughter, Belinda Boone; stepdaughter, Sandy (Quinnen) McDowell; stepsons, Bobby (Sandi) Gay and Michael Gay; 4 grandchildren; 5 Step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Herbert Schaffer and Fred Schaffer.
Mr. Schaffer served in the Airforce during the Korean War from 1950-1954 and retired from the Ryder Truckline.
