Bonnie Regina Moore Benefield, 65, passed away on July 17, 2024 at home. She was born in Huntsville, AL to Raymond and Virginia Moore. She graduated from Guntersville High School in 1976 and went on to work as a faithful wife and homemaker for her entire life. She was instantly mom or maw-maw to every child she ever encountered. She was a kid at heart. Favorite charities are St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Regina’s faith in God is strong. She is clothed in strength and dignity. Member of GFBC. Involved in all her girls activities. Delighted in spoiling her Grandbabies. PTA/PTO president elementary and middle school at same time. Girl Scout leader. Fun home camp for nieces and nephews. Checked her girls out for fun days at the mall. Loved to work in house and garden. Passion for providing for family. She had a sweet smile for everyone that would brighten any day.

Regina is survived by her husband of 48 years Wesley; Daughters Janna and Tiffany; Grandkids Domino, Lizzy, Drew and Katie; Sisters Marie, Wanda, Sandra and Linda. Brother Dan. Many loving Nieces and Nephews. Sisters in Christ (Her Girls) who loved and nurtured her in faith and fun. Cherished by a multitude of friends who loved her dearly. Regina knew how to laugh, love and live.

Private ceremony for immediate family initially with plans for a celebration of life ceremony at a Future date. So much thanks for all the love bestowed upon her during her life.

Mrs. Benefield’s obituary was written by her family with much love.
