CULLMAN, Ala. – Victory Cheer Academy recently announced the launch of its new gymnastics program, Victory Gymnastics, with evaluations scheduled from Aug. 20-23, from 4-7 p.m. As spaces are limited, prospective participants are encouraged to book their slots early to ensure enrollment. Additionally, early registrants will receive a $30 discount on September tuition. Those who sign up by July 31 will be entered into a drawing for free tuition in September, while those who sign up by Aug. 19 will be entered to win a free leotard.
This new program promises a comprehensive gymnastics experience for athletes of all levels. From beginner preschool classes to advanced sessions, Victory Gymnastics also includes a special needs class and a pre-team invitation-only class. The classes will cover all four gymnastics events: floor, bar, beam and vault, using state-of-the-art equipment such as an air pit, air track and trampoline for enhanced training.
The evaluation process is designed to introduce athletes to their instructors and assess their current skill levels. This ensures that each participant is placed in a class best suited to their abilities and success. Victory Gymnastics has five experienced gymnastics coaches on its team, including Wilma Whateley, Laura Autry, Kim Kelly Warren, Jessica Marsh and Julie Nix.
“Signing up for an evaluation will hold the athlete’s spot in our program and allow us to see what skills they have already mastered versus what they need to work on,” stated Mackenzie Broadley, marketing director for Victory.
While the focus has always been Victory Cheer Academy, Victory Gymnastics stands out from previous programs by expanding beyond cheer and tumble to include gymnastics.
“The addition of this brand new program is an expansion of Victory from tumble and cheer to include gymnastics. Our cheer and tumble academies will still exist and operate separately from the gymnastics academy. We hope to begin a competitive gymnastics team in the near future, depending on the growth of this program,” Broadley added.
“We are most excited to see these coaches back in their passion and growing a passion in these athletes,” expressed Broadley. “Our greatest focus and passion is growing athletes as individuals. We incorporate life lessons such as setting and attaining goals, developing responsibility, work ethics, perseverance, how to perform under pressure and how to fail and succeed. Our gym’s core value acronym is PRAISE: Positivity, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Strong work ethic, Encouragement,” Broadley shared.
