Obituary: Kaleb Patrick Ballenger

Funeral services for Kaleb Ballenger, 23, of Bremen, Alabama will be 12 p.m. Saturday, July 13th, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Toby Grimmett will be officiating the service. The family of Mr. Ballenger will receive friends at Hanceville Funeral Home for visitation on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Kaleb was born on December 15, 2000 in Cullman, Alabama to Kevan and Michele Stout-Ballenger. He passed away on July 4, 2024 in Mesa, Arizona. 

Kaleb departed this world while living his best life, embracing every moment with joy and enthusiasm. He found fulfillment in his career, a role that allowed him to travel the country and explore new horizons. His adventures on the road were not just about work; they were about connecting with people, experiencing different cultures, and creating cherished memories. 

Kaleb’s generosity and caring nature were known to all who had the privilege of meeting him. He had a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His kindness left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered, and he had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. 

Family was at the core of Kaleb’s world. He adored his entire family and cherished every moment spent with them. His love and devotion were unwavering, and he brought immense joy and warmth to family gatherings. Kaleb’s legacy of love, kindness, and adventure will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace, Kaleb. Your work on Earth is done. 

Those he leaves behind are his parents, Kevan and Michele Ballenger, brother, Joshua Ballenger (Alexis); nephew, Wesley Ballenger; niece, Arizona Ballenger; grandparents, John and Patricia Baranksi; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to carry out his love and legacy. 

Serving as pallbearers in his honor are Dalton Ballenger, Dakota Ballenger, Mason Skinner, Tyler Knauss, Kyle Morgan and Blake Autwell.

Following the funeral service a luncheon will be held at Cold Springs Community Center- Located at 8869 Co Rd 109, Bremen, AL 35033
