Connie McSwain Allen, age 72, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024.
Connie is survived by her former husband and friend, Bobby Allen; her daughter Jennifer Allen; her grandchildren Kayla Allen and Colby Allen; her great granddaughters Arielle Rose Wilbourn, Alayna Jane Wilbourn, and Laci Rae Allen; her siblings Lawrence McSwain (Luenett), Bobby McSwain (Cindy), and Linda McSwain Williams.
Connie was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Allen; her parents Christie Hancock McSwain and Orvel McSwain; her grandchildren Kyler Allen and Breanna Allen, and her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Thurmon McSwain and Mr. And Mrs. Maburn Hancock.
Connie was a great lover of animals of all kinds and once operated the Water Wings Pet Store in Cullman. She loved flowers and spent a lot of time cultivating them in pots and around her yard. Conne was avid Willie Nelson fan as evidenced by her collection of his posters and other paraphernalia in a special room of her home and her attendance at one of his concerts.
A visitation for Connie will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life graveside at 2:30 p.m. at Cullman City Cemetery, 812 9th Ave SW, Cullman, Alabama 35055 with Reverend Morris Helton officiating.
