Vinemont man dead after shooting; CCSO searching for suspect

CULLMAN, Ala. – A shooting on July 1 in the Vinemont area resulted in the death of Dylaan Bomberry-Wright, 29, of Vinemont. The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office is searching for suspect Jamarion Allen Harrison, 20, of Birmingham.

The CCSO said deputies and investigators responded to the report of a shooting in the Vinemont area on Monday.

Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick identified the victim, who was shot and transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The CCSO said the suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived. A warrant for murder has been issued.

According to the CCSO, Harrison and the victim, along with another individual, were together at a residence.  A confrontation occurred between Harrison and the victim and ultimately resulted in Harrison allegedly shooting the victim.
