Coach Dafford V. Smith of Cullman, Alabama passed away June 30, 2024. Dafford is survived by his wife Sina V. “Vikki” England Smith, daughter Natasha (Bradley) Cofer, and a host of nieces and nephews. Dafford’s model of leadership for men was second to none. When a man believes in you more than you do yourself, it motivates you to live up to his expectations. Dafford has afforded many children opportunities in their life because of the expectations he set for them. Dafford was widely regarded this way. He had faith in young men and women when they didn’t have it in themselves. To do so is what our Godly father expects from all of us. Thank you for the positive impact you have had on our schools and community. Thank you for being who you were Coach Smith.

Services for Mr. Smith will be held Wednesday July 3rd, at St. Andrew’s Global Methodist Church 615 Main Ave SW, Cullman, AL 35055 at 11 a.m. Family will receive friends for a visitation the day prior, Tuesday July 2nd, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel 1901 2nd Ave NW Cullman, AL 35055.
