Charles Edwin Smith, age 81, of Hanceville, AL, passed from this life on Monday, June 24, 2024. There will be no public service, only a small private family gathering.

Charles was born on May 31, 1943, to Joel Smith and Evie Butler Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Barry Smith; a host of brothers and sisters and their spouses.
He is survived by his son, Johnny Smith (Barbara); grandchildren, Lillian Smith Jones (Carson), Isabella Smith Dahlke (Hunter), Ella Smith Jones (Braxton), and Jackman Smith; great-grandchild, Clair Smith.
