Funeral Service for Norman Spencer Hale, age 94 of Vinemont, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Flint Creek Baptist Church with Buddy Price and Phillip Robinson officiating; burial at Flint Creek. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Flint Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Hale passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Hanceville Nursing Home & Rehab. He was born, April 10, 1930, to Jettie Alma Hale and Ella Littrell Hale.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 69 years, Winona Sue Hale; son, Rex Hale; granddaughter, Sally Bice; brothers, Titus, Leldon, Harold, Jerry, Delano and Billy Joe Hale; sisters, Voncille Higdon, Faynell Powell, Vonda Lee Powell.
Survivors include his daughters, Vickie (David) Smith, Tammy (Kipp) Merritt and Lori (Doug) Bice; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Anderson, Jessica (Pablo) Palomino, Magin (Corey) Smith, Lucius Hale; great grandchildren, Jordan, Brooklynn, Erin, Ella, Isabella, Abigail, River, Remington, Raya, Daxton, one on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice, Hanceville Nursing Home & Rehab, VA Patient advocate and Geneva Robinson.
