Participants can apply to programs with openings for fall 2024
HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Wallace State Community College Health Science programs will host an application advising session on Thursday, June 27, at 2 p.m. for anyone interested in applying for programs with openings remaining for the fall 2024 semester. Previous and new applicants are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in Room 116 on the first floor of the Tom Bevill Health Education Building.
“We encourage anyone who has an interest in entering the healthcare field to attend this session and learn more about the programs offered at Wallace State and get insight into the application process,” said Lisa German, vice president for learning and dean of the Health Science programs. “This could be especially beneficial to students who may have applied to another program but was unfortunately not able to enroll. This session will show them there are more opportunities available to them in healthcare that they may not have been aware of previously.”
Health science programs with openings for the fall 2024 semester include:
- Dental Assisting
- Emergency Medical Services
- Health Information Technology
- Medical Assistant
- Medical Laboratory Assistant and Medical Laboratory Technician
- Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- Polysomnography (Sleep Lab)
- Respiratory Therapy
